We all know that colour blocking is IN!
J took this photograph at Clerkenwell Design Week, specifically because her colour blocking and personal styling was so striking; it sent out fun, yet seductive vibes. The girl was happy to oblige when asked if J could photograph her for a street style post, which was so lovely.
Many designers have used colour blocking in their work, such as Jil Sander, which was the most obvious for me and of course, Lanvin.
Later on in the day, at the TKMAXX press show, there was a particular rail that stood out for us; BLOCK BRIGHTS... it immedietly reminded us of this fantastic girl and her bold red jeans.
I really think this is a trend worth trying, it is effortlessly cool and adds a little excitement to your look.
