WHO IT’S FROM
This CI is hosted by LuckyMag.com and Florence + the Machine, a Brit Award-winning band with roots in indie rock and soul. Lead singer Florence Welch is known for her eclectic sense of style, often wearing outfits she finds in local second-hand shops.
HOW THE WINNER WILL BE CHOSEN
The submissions will be judged by Florence, her stylist Aldene Johnson, and Lucky Magazine’s Creative Director Andrea Linett.
WHAT YOU GET
The winning design will be made into Florence’s stage outfit by Aldene Johnson. The winner will receive $500 cash, transportation to New York, and 2 nights’ accommodation at the Soho House NY to see Florence + the Machine perform at Terminal 5. The winner will also meet Florence and the band backstage and receive a signed copy of their new album, Lungs.
LuckyMag.com will run a full feature on the winning designer along with images of Florence wearing the outfit. The winning designer will also be featured on Florence’s website and Facebook page.
The People’s Choice winner (top vote-getter) will receive a special edition jewel box designed by Florence and Faye Sawyer. This jewel box will contain the band’s new album Lungs, and an envelope with hand-drawn artwork by Florence containing a personal handwritten letter.
The top 10 runners-up will each receive a signed copy of Florence + the Machine’s new album, Lungs.
The top 5 'judges choice' designers, will be mentioned on Luckymag.com.

I cannot stess enough how badly I want you bon bons to enter. I've seen your style blogs, I know you have a good eye for fashion. What could hurt from a few sketches. There is a tip to New York at stake here guys! Weather you are a fan or not that has to sway you! The best thing about this is that the possibilities are endless. If you were designing an outfit for someone from 90% of the music world it would be the most beautifully boring peice ever but no Florence Welch dares. You can go wild and let your imagination overflow because the more ''out there'' the better!
Don't forget to show us your designs if you are entering, we would love to see them! Who knows, even if your outfit doesn't make it to Lucky magazine we might do a special article on you anyway!!
